Getting paid:
How do I get paid?
After attendees enter their credit card information, money goes into a secured Amazon account. After the transaction is proccessed, revenues from ticket sales are automatically transferred into your bank account minus the service fees.
How much $ comes out of my ticket sales for this service?
The payment processing fees that come out of your ticket sales are set by Amazon. Packed House service fee of 2.5% is added to the price of your tickets and does not come out of your original ticket price.
How long does it take to get paid?
One way that Packed House differenciates from the other guys is that You get paid as often as you sell a ticket. There is a short pending payment process that typically lasts from about 5 to 15 minutes.
Do I have to sign up for Amazon?
Yes. At this time, Packed House has found Amazon to be the most cost-effective and simple solution for this kind of service.
How do I know this is secure / safe?
Packed House does not store any financial information. We use world-leading financial platform from Amazon to process all monetary transactions. For more information on Amazon security, check out Amazon Transaction and Account Security section.
What kind of software do I need?
None. All you need is Internet access. If you want to get paid (and who doesn't?) you just need an Amazon Payments account and a bank account to transfer your ticket sales into.
Do I need to subscribe to this? What kind of commitment is required or can I just use this service one time?
There is no commitment--you can use this service for as long as you want or cancel at any time. There are no commitments or monthly subscriptions.
Creating my event:
Can I change my event details later on?
Yes, events can be changed at any time by clicking on the "Change It Up" button.
How can I include my company's logo in the event announcement?
You can upload a .jpg image in the "extra stuff" section after clicking on the "Change It Up" button. The recommended logo size is 750px wide and 172 px high.
Can I make up my own event template instead of usinf the ones that are
offered by Packed House?
Yes and no. You do not have to use on the "canned" images in a template (you can upload your own logo instead), however, the format of all templates is not changeable.
If I change my mind about having my event will I still get charged?
You are never charged at any point by Packed House, the Packed House fees are added on top of the ticket price and are paid for by event attendees and not the event host. However, anytime a credit card transaction is made, there are credit card processing fees. For more details, click here.
If I create an event but don't sell any tickets, will I still get
charged?
No.
Can I create, promote /sell tickets to an event that will be free and
do I still have to pay a fee to Packed House?
Yes, you can promote free events and No, Packed House is not going to charge you for them.
Promoting my events:
How do I promote my event once I've set everything up?
1). Publish your event to a social media sites.
2). Invite everyone with an e-mail address that you know.
3). (coming soon) Let event associates promote and sell tickets for a commission.
4). Embed event registration into your website using the "Generate HTML" option.
5). Use discount codes to set up special offers.
What are "event associates?
Event Associates are affiliate marketers that will help you sell tickets for your event for a percentage of your ticket sales that they bring in.
How do I get event associates to sell tickets to my event?

Is there a way to find out who these event associates are?

How do I promote my event on Facebook?
To promote your event on any of the social networking sites, click on the "Invite Guests" option and then the "Social Media" button. Once you get to your preferred social networking site, either set up an account or login and spread the word about your event.
Do the promoting tools cost extra?
No.
Keeping up:
How do I see who's purchased tickets so far?
To see who has purchased tickets so far, click on "Keep It Up," then click the "Track Attendees" button.
Can I just email specific people but not everyone?
Yes. You can e-mail specific attendees in the "Invite Guests" section. If you e-mail attendees in the "Keep It Up" section, it will go out to all attendees.
Can I send a survey before the event begins?
Yes. You can setup surveys at any time you would like.
How do I print badges?
You have 2 options for printing badges:
1). You can print badges from within PackedHouse site in the "Keep It Up" section, then clicking on the "Print Badges" option, then choosing the standard Packed House badge option.
2). For a large variety of the higher end badge templates, please follow this link to the Avery Templates.
Can I print badges on regular paper?
Yes, but pre-made badge paper will save you tons of time.

To share photos, go to the "Follow Up" section, then click on the "Share Photos" button.
Can I make up my own survey questions and answers?
Yes. Surveys can be setup in the "Follow Up" section.
Does sending follow up questions cost extra?
No.
Can my event attendees see each others answers to my survey questions?
Only if you want them to (you have an option to show/hide answers to other attendees).
